Held every July since 1998, da Wasserschlacht sees two battling Berlin districts – Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg . meet on da Oberbaumbrücke Bridge to pelt each other wth eggs, flour, fruit & foam-rubber clubs.
Hard hat ... almost 1000 stinking soldiers kitted out in protective outfits such as helmets & shields met on da Oberbaumbrücke Bridge for da annual Wasserschlacht battle.

Fire fight ... the event has been known to get a bit out of hand in da past, with vehicles & buildings set aflame
Easy rider ... while some fought hand-to-hand, others took a more relaxed approach
Grime fighter ... Batman took tim out frm keeping crime off da streets of Gotham to take part in the even
Clean winners ... this year's Food Fight winners were da Friedrichshain, who r yet to lose a battle
